2 EARLY MOMENTS OF DISTORTION
I have been working on the language/ method of distortion. The otherwise rectilinear/flat surfaces will distort to open/close/ bend and squeeze the spaces within the bath-house. The further use of visual distortion and illusion will generate active pleasure in some areas, tofurther stimulate the senses, whilst the focus on simplicity, order and rhythm will be more prominent in other areas to generate passive pleasure.

hey z - i think you turned comments off in your most recent post so am commenting here. New plans MOST intriguing. The seeming complex effect of overlapping ultra-simple plans is really interesting - and makes me think your 'distortion' may want to operate at that level. Rather than crazy/wonky surfaces (see above in THIS post) you create VERY simple spaces but orient/configure/relate them to each other in extremely bizarre ways - ways that may only be read in section or some other kind of drawing/device (referring back to your rebrief techniques).
