ok here it goes:
there is the plan and there is the plan........
The plan reflects the prison as an architectural system.
The plan deals with escape, other words, when the world of the prisoners is restricted to a 3x3m cell, its windows and doors become kind of focus points of desire. Size of 3x3 meters becomes relative to perception, psychology. So this plan is a kind of mental map of 90 prisoners. I feel this narrative still sounds a bit stupid so am not entirely sure whether to be extremely exited or to take a radically different direction.... :S

Hiya - love the plan as a document of points of desire (good phrase).

I like this attempt (I'll call it that because you have a few months to continue developing your architecture and space) and certainly they read differently. But think you can also make them read much more distinctly in the next iterations. What are the zig-zag lines? Right now we read them as part of the same world - one just kind of distorted but it's possible that the geometry of the interior room changes as the prisoner 'leans' toward the openings - so we can begin to read this spaces as highly biased towards windows+doors. Make the next version REALLY focused towards your points of desire!

good start.

HI, thanks for your response. Happy at least the dual mapping thing is something to continue with. The cells are still just outlines so needs to become changing space instead (interior etc) The zigzag line might be something like this:
http://www.redux.nl/site/
A texture over the towers inside/outside which can be manipulated. So when prisoners freak out, it starts to become veryvery pointy to the inside.... I think this last sentence could be rephrased more architecturally appropriate, expression of a simple mind.. anyway.. soon more i hope..
