another sponge
not entirely sure where it will lead me yet...
am exploring a bit on cellular structures i am not convinced yet. And Iooking at this thing I think a monolithic sponge will be nicer, not the strange big hole in the middle..
And my Rhino skills are limited to "sphere-cube-plane" so probably have to watch my steps... :)

There is a book - I think it is called 'buildings and power: freedom and control in the origins of modern building types' (I think). It has the whole history of the architecture of work houses, prisons, reform schools, ect. It is quite good and it shows the development of some really interesting plans. You should have a look. The prison plan has a lot to do with the vantage or view point of the guards onto cells. Anyway check it out...
