and the red pieces are the small cut formwork panels(these ones arent big enough to take a reference number at 1:20, and so must be dealt with separately

a technique for producing doubly curved formwork with a timber gridshell... this doesn't require profiles to be cut from plywood.
The traditional plan configuration of a church nave (blue) surrounded by chapels (yellow) for example in San Lorenzo above has been transformed in this project below into a church nave (blue) surrounded by cinema screens (yellow).
to reduce the severity of the cantilevers some of the footings have been amended.
also to make more rational load paths for some of the spans the internal volumes of the cinemas have been manipulated.
