The manifesto

The church was endless. As I went inside the time of the day didn't matter anymore, people were just there to pray to sleep to cry to sing and to take photographs.

I could only hear a woman singing but I had no sense of the direction which it was coming from, she was there somewhere in the church,I wanted to see what was behind the alter? Is it another room,a chapel another balcony or even a secret garden where she was singing from?

It was getting darker inside, the only indication that the time had passed in the outside world but it seemed as if it didn't matter to the people in the church, they had been sitting for a long time.

The church has become detached from the outside world, the qualities of light sound and time changed to disorient where only the tourists and the visitors could break the silence.

I wanted the time to stop and the spaces to go on forever so to remain forever in the state of endless detachment.

The church is floating somewhere between the ground and the sky.Its detached to have no materiality in order to be endless.
