just above the section cut of the flare, show the top view (folded out on top of the section) of the flare and a little bit beyond. Don't need to do it the entire length of the section, rather just take the most important pieces. You can actually show the flare 2 times in top view - over the top section you show it from the roof with the surface material, below the lower section you can fold out the plan view of the flare frames (showing the frame and ribs).
