yes the top view is the best one but:
1_check in photoshop: levels, contrast, colors...
2_it should be brighter, sio we don't see on the left the grey of the paper (i suggest to fix it with mask)
3_make sure if you have the picture that you don't cut parts of your model. the picture shoud include all (top and left side)
