Room to CNC

CNC-1.jpg

i choose to CNC machine this room which is write next to room 27, this room has both sharp and curvy walls which i thought could be interesting to investigate in term of materiality and effect.

the room has two openings so formed of two main walls, which are themselves formed of individual walls (or columns i should say) the sharp wall is composed of 6columns that i can CNC and assemble as i made sure they would interlock.

only problem being the dimension of the material (hard foam, the same as elephteris is 50cmx50cmx5cm but the machining area in that is only 40x50x5).

so at the scale of 1:50 i can fit the columns in the foam block easily, only parts of floor surface will stick out and i'll just have to machine them seperatly and they fits them to the rest.

at scale 1;25 the columns don;t fit in depth unfortunaty.

i could have a scale in between, afterall i'm known for having weird scales?!?
