Fiera-Milano is a the largest exhibition centre in Italy. Originally located in the centre of Milan, in 2005 it was transferred in the town of Rho, a satellite commune at the doors of the city.
The area is now being redeveloped by a group of companies called CityLife that in 2006 won the international tender for the redevelopment of the historic neighborhood of Fiera Milano.
The winning project was designed by Arata Isozaki, Daniel Libeskind, Zaha Hadid, and Pier Paolo Maggiora.
