I am attempting to model the first layers of the library/fortification.
The green lines are those of the city of Neuf Brisach that I am framing.
As we move outwards and through the layers we move through the instances of the Dewey Decimal System, so the primary order is the first layer of fortification, information is then "digested" and moved towards more specific layers (secondary and tertiary orders), so the archive acts as a cyclical process. At the end information "sprawls" outwards as it gets digested over time, encircling the programs of the campus and various sites of inhabitation for the librarians.
Paths are drawn between decimal numbers so you can go directly to 100 to 200 and so forth and links are made to facilitate navigation.
Sorry this is a bit confusing, very little time to express this on paper...
