as for the parking - would do perpendicular parking rather than diagonal - diagonal's a pain and you will have to alternate the angle as you can only park from SINGLE access in this scheme - so it will be a one-way system and considering you have so much space, you don't really need to be quite so economical with parking layout.
use the plantings and trees (continuing your column grid) to break up the monotony - don't forget all the other pieces that go along with the parking. Look in the harvard guide to shopping for some decent parking plans - use planters to divide the rows (here you just have a line - make it all count).
