Looking at the development of the arch profiles. Sectional aspects of the arches are explored seprately and then will be combined through modelling.
The aim is to formally delineate cetain programatic zones within the church. A variety of arch columns direct the eye to points of architectural interest and can be used as a means of navigation. May also create some enclosure.

...This is what my columns do. When a structure is intentionally so open, how can i still direct people. I know i am gona need a couple of diags (and a good section) to explain this. Is a work in progress.
