Model - Wip

The table model is on the way....finally. Its about 45x45.
I am having the light wells slsed and the cores stled at the moment. I should be able to pick up the one I sent on Friday tomorrow -the rest including the silos should be ready on Friday. I have everything laid out and labelled for laser cutting but I am struggling to decide on a material. Transparent of not? If it is transparent the light wells and network will be visible but its nit true the nature of the project. Any suggestions...please please?
The model changed a lot since Friday because I kept adding pieces. It is no longer just one light well in the slabs but rather it should show an overall area of the building - with silos and the relationship of the light wells to each other.
The slabs slot onto the cores and separate in the middle to see into the 'sandwich'.
Now I am working on the garden plan so that I can do the outer view. - to slow!! .

I would try a slab in acrylic and in a solid material and see which one works better. I think a solid one would be more useful to express the bleak interior and make the light wells read and more importantly, operate as light wells. If you make floors transparent, light wells have no use at all.
This way, at some point you can block of the sides of your 45x45 with a solid material, take into dark room, illuminate from above and take pictures of light movement through your spaces.
