Pattern of opening/ windows in the box LWs. The patterns differentiate depending on the how much light vs privacy is needed. This is not not done in a scientific fashion yet. I will laser cut some peices tomorrow morning to test the effects.
I am going to keep going on this one. I will post more later.

how come they look like you've applied frank lloyd wright-ian patterning to the surfaces? maybe it would help to develop a formal language for this lightwells if you also think what they'll be made of - if concrete and poured - is unlikely you'll need such sharp corners, if steel framed, what then - where are the thick supporting members, if all glass all the time - how is it all supported? you WILL have more solid elements to these things. remember, they're HUGE so cannot be just silicone welded glass. think big and voluptuous...
