Hiya amandine,

With regards to your most recent posts - I would go back to your landscape (as that is where much of YOUR project will sit) and define what it is first, and how it swallows the projects second.

We asked everyone to steer clear of specific sites for now - and while yours is clearly a site-specific project I think you need to more fully remove yourself from it in order to be ENGAGE with it. You're spending probably a bit too much time on the cathedral and how platforms may destroy it, or swamp it, than critically think what the platforms are, how they operate individually, as a lump, and as a landscape. how are they programmed, are they a shell, deep, superficial, what do they CONTAIN? do they contain 'stuff' in a more intricate way than just surrounding existing objects? do they contain moments, history, memory or just residual objects? work on the concept of 'containment' as an ARCHITECTURAL, MATERIAL, SITE, CONCEPTUAL and CULTURAL strategy.

I think your first little card model was only a first, so don't spend too much time modelling that quick version and begin to model alternative versions of your carpet containment. Which begs another question, is it deliberately a CARPET, and if so, why?
