"...and later also what the media described as “great hands of stone” which rose one by one into the air like clenched fists opening-out."

update, recorpistery parts

"the muddy rectangle of the site was churned up by countless delivery trucks; cranes began to trace circles in the sky; and through all of this people could discern what looked like mountains of bodies, or mounds of sculpture of some sort being lifted into the site"

update, strange groups

| | Comments (0)

"At first all the media had to cover was the strange spectacle of Men of The Cloth trudging every morning into a collection of tent-like temporary structures, accompanied by a wild array of characters, from young athletes and gymnasts, to Business Tycoons, to apparent hooligans, to Magazine Editors and Circus acts."

Today

Mostly looking stuff up today. Finding articles, one of which you see below, getting my head ready for seeing Wolf, and being excited about the lecture tonite!

Also below is a refined design for the "tunnel-tube" armature of the Armature Chandelier. I forgot to save the last one when I closed the file. Clever. Very, very clever.

These are the slides.

I think the other one will be better for doing a section of. Its less visually confusing.

Firstly two images of the tomb areas in te Cemetery-Corridors, and then the rest. PS the surface in the roof above the Pit is needed cos I dont want it to fall down after its printed...

"Killing my computer Softly"

| | Comments (0)

I feel like Im killing an old faithfull horse or sumthng the way Im treating my laptop with this model. Anyway... heres the area over the Pit, the enclosure of the Recorpistery. The first view is from the cemetery which is all the negative spaces between other programme. Ever thought you heard a noise coming from the gap between the walls? Well here there's the rattling of lost souls... the recorpisteries occur at points where these cemetery corridors meet...

Now working up the covered area over the Pit...

The "Pit"

The Recorpistee stand on the ledge, with the other people attending the ceremony standing round him with candles at each of the ledges, encanting the 'rites' of liberation from fleshly obsession.blulbu2-for-web.jpg The significant body-parts are then discarded into the earth.

L'Ennemi

Ma jeunesse ne fut qu'un ténébreux orage,
Traversé çà et là par de brillants soleils;

Meaningless. You mean its all been meaningless?

Like when two fire-flies fluoresce?

Yes yes yes. It was totally meaningless,

And,

Love is like a bottle of gin; but a bottle of gin is not like love.

Shit.
